Samsung recently rolled out the third beta version of One UI 8.0 for its Galaxy S25 series. This new beta update comes three weeks after the second beta and brings several important improvements. The company has focused on improving the overall performance and experience while resolving some of the issues reported by users.
This third beta of One UI 8 is currently available in South Korea, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Users in India will likely get this update as the second beta, whose build number ends with ZYFA. The size of this update is about 1.1GB on the standard version of the Galaxy S25.
What’s new in One UI 8 Beta 3 for Galaxy S25?
- Fixed the overlap issue between the status bar of recent apps and the active app menu when using NavStar.
- Fixed the bug of not getting keyboard input after reboot when entering a PIN in the Security folder.
- Fixed the issue of intermittent slow loading when opening the Modes and Routines section.
- Fixed an input error related to “swipe to type” when using gestures on the keyboard.
- Fixed an issue when inputting text with the S Pen.
- An experimental feature “Back Screen Preview” has been added to the lab section.
- Many apps have been updated to improve system stability.
- Many other minor improvements have also been included.
The update is now available to some users, and a screenshot of the beta version has been shared by Tarun Vats. If you are already part of the beta program on the Galaxy S25, you will get this update via over-the-air (OTA).

How to update:
- Go to your phone: Settings > Software update > Download and install
