Recently, it was reported that Motorola will start rolling out the Android 15 update for its original ThinkPhone models from June 9, specifically for Fido and Rogers networks. It is now confirmed that Motorola ThinkPhone has started receiving the Android 15 update in Canada and US, and the update may soon be made available in other countries as well. According to some reports, the update may already be live in some regions.
Many users have confirmed that they have received the Android 15 update on their ThinkPhone device. There has been a minor issue though – the battery usage data resets automatically – but apart from that, no major issues have been reported.
The Motorola ThinkPhone was launched in 2023 with Android 13. After this, the Motorola ThinkPhone got the Android 14 update, and now the second major update in this device is Android 15.
Rolled out for ThinkPhone variants in the United States with build number V1TB35H.149-8-10, the update, which is about 2.39 GB in size, is based on the stable version of Android 15, which includes some new features and improvements, although no major changes are expected.
